About The Speaker
Tony is a marketing leader with experience in large tech companies (IBM, Microsoft, and Yahoo) as well as for nimble startups in the software-as-a-service (SaaS), cloud storage, and enterprise 2.0 space. His marketing expertise covers a broad range, including go-to-market and new product launch strategy, product marketing, lead generation, and social media. Tony holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, a Masters in Information Systems Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and BA degrees in Economics and Chinese Studies from UC San Diego.

Jonathan is author of Rapid Video Development for Trainers (ASTD Press) and has taught media production for more than 20 years in 20 different countries. He ran the BBC’s prestigious Production Training Department in London and was manager of skills training for the BBC’s New Media Training Unit (back when new media was new.) Now based in Washington DC, he runs workshops around the US and teaches a graduate class at George Washington University. Jonathan has been a media executive, talk show host and learning executive. He has a master’s and bachelor’s degree in adult learning and is active in the American Society for Training & Development. Jonathan has a hybrid work life dividing his time between teaching media and teaching leadership and organizational change. His personal interests are food, wine and conversation. And has just started re-learning the piano after a twenty-two year break.
